Bentley Designs Limited, trading as bd2, was formed in August 1998, and in each of the following years has traded profitably and reinvested heavily in the skills, training and infrastructure needed to grow the business. As a result the company has grown steadily over the last 12 years and, in all, is now comprised of 16 people [12 full time] which includes a highly experienced and professional team with Chartered Designer, Chartered Marketer, Microsoft Certified Professionals and BCS Accredited, Prince 2 Certified Project Manager.

The business is owner-managed by Chartered Designer William Bentley who is hands on in the day to day operations of the business with the primary role of art director, which ensures the high creative standards on which the Company's reputation has been built are maintained. As well as being a Chartered Designer since 1993, William is an Associate Member of the Institute of Business Advisors and has been an Accredited Consultant on the National Business Link Register of Consultants for over 14 years.

bd2 is an Approved Supplier to HP, The Atlas Consortium working for the MoD and is on The Approved Supplier Frameworks of Bolton Council, Wigan Council and Bolton University.

The company is based in its own 2,500 sq ft studios, just five minutes walk from Wigan town centre, which it purchased in 2006, and completely refurbished to a high standard. In 2010 we purchased an adjacent plot of land which we redeveloped as additional parking space, in all providing 14 staff and 2 visitor spaces. And we are in the process of converting an outbuilding into over 750 sq ft of photography studios, due to complete in summer 2011.
